This notice amends APD.SOP.2190 "Atlanta Police Retired Reserve", Section 4.3.3
addressing retired reserve officer's prohibited duties and adds subsection 4.6.10.
 

 

4.3.3

Prohibited duties while performing volunteer service hours. (OLD)

   
 

1.     Riding in or operating a city vehicle, marked or un marked,

 

 

 

2.     Performing any type of patrol function, including, but not limited to, patrolling

 

        (vehicle, motor, or foot patrol), the answering 911 calls to service, or the transporting of prisoners.

 

 

4.3.3

Prohibited duties while performing volunteer service hours. (NEW)

 

 

 

Working undercover or in plain clothes while on an extra job or while performing volunteer service hours.

 

 

4.6.10

Retired reserve police officers who operate a city owned vehicle will have a valid Georgia driver's

 

license in their possession.
