1. PURPOSE

2. POLICY
It is imperative that the Fugitive Unit cover from 0800 hours to 2400 hours seven days a week.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Supervisors will monitor and ensure that all investigators assigned to the Fugitive Unit adhere to the process outlined in this procedure.
3.2 Investigators assigned to the Fugitive Unit will follow the procedure outlined in this process and will report any such instances where deviation is required or necessary to perform their duty.
4. ACTION
4.1 The Fugitive Unit within the Criminal Investigations Division has two assigned shifts and duty hours. The day shift is responsible for the duty hours of 0800 hours to 1600 hours. The evening shift is responsible for the duty hours of 1600 hours to 2400 hours.
4.2 Each investigator is assigned a shift and duty hours. Only with a Fugitive Unit’s supervisor approval can these duty hours be deviated from. Investigators assigned to the AMMO Task Force are allowed to work additional hours for overtime prior to and/or after their assigned shift.
